My Journey
The Story Behind This Country Bumpkin Voice Actor
Growing up in a working-class family, I found solace and inspiration in the countryside, thanks to my mother's horses. From an early age, my passion for films, video games, and media nurtured my dream of becoming an actor. Although I enrolled in drama schools, my debilitating stage fright hindered me from fully embracing the spotlight.
However, my unwavering determination led me down an alternate path. Immersed in the world of filmmaking, I dedicated the following decade to honing my skills and nurturing my creativity. Graduating with a BAhons in Filmmaking and Creative Media, I embarked on a fulfilling journey as a freelance filmmaker.
It was at a transformative New Year's Eve gathering that I was introduced to Dungeons and Dragons, igniting a spark within me. Creating and inhabiting unique characters, and weaving captivating narratives, became a revelation. Encouragement from a dear friend, who praised my character creations, unlocked my true calling: voice acting.
This revelation perfectly aligned with my innate desire to bring characters to life and share compelling stories, free from the overwhelming pressure of large audiences. The pursuit of voice acting became my passion, and with each passing year, I secured increasingly significant roles, propelling me to where I stand today.
